If you want to be filled in more about Astaxanthin you could check out my earlier blogs on it.. This a review on mostly Zeaxanthin. See thing is Astaxanthin is actually much stronger than zeaxanthin… but, zeaxanthin tends to have better absorbsion in the eyes, skin and optic / auditory nerves making it much more effective in those areas..
If your eyesight is one of your priorities then consider zeaxanthin.. Perhaps through the many foods such as spinach, kale, eggs, turnip greens, collard greens, romaine lettuce, broccoli, zucchini, corn, garden peas and Brussels sprouts.. Although the problem lies in moderation..Its hard to say you’d get what you need from the food alone unless you have a prepared diet and stuck with it..
That’s often where the supplements come in.. I’ve tried Noagin, and can say it works well. Its a mix between Zeaxanthin, Astaxanthin, and Lutein. A concentrated formula for maintaining a healthy body, wrinkles, eyesight, memory, prevention of cancer, aswell as others. I’ve gone more into depth on a previous blog. They really are super antioxidants.

The Environmental Protection Agency has blasted the FDA’s analysis of the benefits and risks of fish consumption. The opinion is “not a product (we) should endorse,” the EPA said, “as it does not reach the level of scientific rigor.”
In the last days of the Bush administration, FDA had drafted a report that looked towards setting clear guidelines for consumers who were wondering whether the risks of fish consumption - namely, high levels of mercury and other heavy metals - outweigh the benefits, such as increased intake of omega-3 fatty acids and improved cognitive function. For its results, the FDA compared two recommendations - that people eat more fish of all kinds; and that people limit their fish consumption and eat only low mercury fish on the rare occasion that they do eat seafood. So in short choose variety of fish.. Or slow it down.
The agency did not look at large diet of only low mercury fish. With the data set excluded, the FDA concluded that the brain damaging effects of the mercury were outweighed by the benefits of fish consumption(Thats pretty ridiculous haha cause that’d defeat the purpose of eating it pretty much). The agency appeared set to urge people to stop monitoring their fish consumption, and implicitly tell them not to worry about which fish is higher in mercury.
The draft report was so bad and accused of faulty science that the FDA had released a new report. Although the EPA concluded that the report was “essentially unchanged, and *pause* (still) scientifically flawed. Meaning faults/and or lies.
Among the flaws cited by the EPA was the FDA’s reliance on a 22 year old study from Iraq that measured mercury damage based on the age at which children began to speak - the true ages of many children in the study, were not said. The FDA relied on mercury research that “had been completely abandoned by the scientific community as a basis for risk assessment for more than a decade,” the EPA concluded.
The FDA is quite inefficient being not only the mercury in fish.. but psychiatric drugs. They definitely need to be regulated.

Be the Change you want to see in the world. (Ghandi)
A study found that obese people - have 8 percent less brain tissue than normal weighted people, and those who are classified as overweight have 4 percent less brain tissue..
Its called “severe brain degeneration” and researchers found these brains were not only smaller, but that they had aged prematurely as well. The brain of the obese and overweight looked 16 and 8 years respectively beyond the brain age of normal weighted individuals.
Poor diet and and reliance on processed foods were cited as the primary cause of obesity. But, have you ever thought about why a bad diet is a bad diet? It’s mainly due to all of the man-made chemicals in them
What is normally considered a healthy diet is lots of fresh fruits, veggies, nuts, and whole grains, and it contains far fewer chemicals/none.
Processed food almost always contains man made chemicals because they’d have an extremely limited shelf life to rely without. Although chemicals in processed foods don’t stop with just preservatives - they include chemicals for flavor and color, and even unlisted chemicals that fall under the artificial flavors label. Most processed foods also contain genetically altered material - which just adds to the problem.
The act of processing, even when it starts with a natural food, alters the natural structure of the food and changes it from nature’s design with which humans are biologically compatible with. - Which is a problem.
Now question is…Is the actual fat in obese bodies causing the brains to shrink? Or.. is it that all of the chemicals and genetically altered materials that these people are consuming in a large amount by eating an unnatural and processed food diet?
If it’s the abundance of chemicals that the obese and overweight are taking in by consuming large processed foods, pretty much no one is immune to chemical contaminations from our foods these days. Its actually more likely that we’re just seeing the problem magnified in the obese and overweight, but that it’s affecting each one of us, and not in a beneficial matter…
You could actually connect all of the diseases associated with obesity with a large number of chemicals from processed foods. The same chemicals that manufacturers of those foods tell us are safe.
If Interested you may want to look into super-foods.

In a presentation in front of the “American Chemical Society” - was held in Washington, D.C.- scientist “Ankit Agarwal” revealed that he had came up with an approach to healing that can kill 99.9999%!!! of bacteria in a wound using a natural substance… Silver. His claim is that hes found a way to help skin heal by using tiny, targeted nanoparticles of the metal. This could be of use for diabetics that have the chance of amputations and help victims of severe burns heal with fewer complications from infection, too. This reminds me of the starfish like limbs story…
The idea of using silver as a healing tool is not new.. In fact Hippocrates, the ancient Greek physician known as the father of modern medicine, wrote - silver has beneficial, anti-disease properties. Silver is often used today to prevent wound dressings from becoming contaminated with bacteria. However, the larger loads normally used by Western medicine can damage the skin. That has made doctors, especially those who treat burn victims, shy away from using silver to heal wounds.
Agarwal, a postdoctoral researcher of the University of Wisconsin Madison, believes he’s come up with a way to take advantage of silver’s anti/bacterial properties while still avoiding skin damage and actually promoting the healing of damaged skin. Extremely small doses delivered precisely -
Scientists have known cells in the bodies of humans/mammals are sensitive to silver - but bacteria are much more sensitive then cells. So the key to killing bacteria without harming skin cells is to concentrate the silver that kills infection-causing bacteria but doesn’t harm the skin cells needed for healing. Agarwal has done just that.
Combining 21st century high tech engineering with the ancient natural healing powers of silver, ultra-thin material capable of carrying extraordinarily small amounts of the precious metal has been created. One square inch of this material contains a tiny amount, only about 0.4% of the silver found in the silver/treated antibacterial bandages now used in medicine that can damage skin.
Agarwal in laboratory tests, demonstrated that the low concentration of silver killed 99.9999 percent of the bacteria but didn’t damage “fibroblasts” cells that are needed to repair a wound.
Agarwal created the experimental material by alternately dipping a glass plate in two solutions of oppositely charged polymers and then adding the precise dose of silver needed. The resulting layers form a kind of sandwich of ultra thin material that stick together through electrical attraction(woo). The final size of the “silver laced treatment” material ranges from a few nanometers to several hundred nanometers in thickness. One nanometer is one billionth of a meter .One human hair is nearly 60,000 nanometers in diameter.
Silver must take the form of charged particles to kill bacteria… or ions, and the commercial wound dressings now in use contain a large dose of silver ions which are released quickly with little control. But the tiny silver nanoparticles that Agarwal embed is his high tech silver sandwich material that can be designed too release ions for days or weeks if needed. “We are putting the silver where we need it, so we can use a small loading of silver, which does not exhibit toxicity to mammalian cells because the silver is precisely targeted,” Nicholas Abbott, a professor of chemical and biological engineering who works with Agarwal, had explained in the media statement.
Now I wonder how beneficial this could be with the research developed from starfish limb regeneration..

Actually.. Lower back pain is an enormous health and economic problem in the U.S. Annually Americans spend $50 billion on lower back problems. New research shows there’s natural drug free and effective help for those with chronic lower back pain.. Yoga. “Spine” A Journal that was published stated that a group of people who suffered from lower back pain who regularly practiced yoga - they had less pain, improved function, and a better mood. The $400,000 study, funded by the National Institutes of Health (Bit pricey..) 3 Years/90 People - half of them were randomly assigned to study Iyengar style yoga and half received conventional medical therapy. The ones practicing yoga took 90 minute classes for two times a week lasting 24 weeks, working in postures chosen to relieve chronic low-back pain. The team followed on with the researched participants both during the trial and six months after the medical therapy/yoga classes ended. The results were dramatic - The yoga group had far less pain, less functional disability and less depressed when they had been compared with the control group. “These were statistically significant and clinically important changes that were maintained six months after the intervention (yoga),” Dr. Williams stated.
A much greater proportion of yoga subjects reported improvements in their conditions through and after both 12 and 24 weeks of taking yoga classes. Whenever anyone participants in the yoga group had pain.. It was often less intense. “There was also a clinically important trend for the yoga group to reduce their pain medication usage compared to the control group,” the authors of the study concluded.
I hope this blog was informing to you all.

Banana peels are appearently very benificial to ones health.. VP Ramakrishnan, resident of RC Marg had discovered that the benifit of a banana peel can cure heart ailments. Ramakrishnan (chemical engineer and entrpreneur, has not scientifically researched the benifits of the banana peel although remains convinced of the benifits.
Ramamkrisnan had began study on the effects of natural foods on the human body a couple of years ago. He had been diagnosed with high blood pressure and a heart problem. “I love observing nature it teaches us so much. I realized that natural products are the best nutrition for the body” he explained, also going on to mention raw garlic rather processed garlic is 30x’s (Times) more beneficial for our systems. The banana peels bring down the low density lipoprotein levels and increase the high density level lipo proteins (Often what heart patients need).
The peels can be cooked, microwaved, or eaten raw (appearently EVEN FRIED yuck!). To some it’s the best way to prevent diseases.
Banana peels actually contain 11% alchohol, - The National Research Centre for Banana (NRCB) has developed the technology for producing alcohol from the peel.. Perhaps better to eat the banana first.
It’s said when the dried peel is smoked it has hallucinogenic traits (said to be an urban legend). (A friend can vouch for that too)There is truth to the legend being it contains tryptophan (when injested increases levels of serotonin the body). Said to also have “Mood Altering Effects” some injest peels to feel in a more calm and more unstressed state. Tryptophan has actually been used to reduce hallucinations in patients with mental disorders. It’s questionable to say tryptophan indeed does have hallucinogenic effects..
I’d like to also bring up that commericial bananas may have had pesticides used on them.. All natural = Better.

Astaxanthin is a phytochemical. Now let’s get into why you “need” antioxidants.. Why most of health/aging/free radical problems are caused by lack of them. You have to go to a molecular level to know.. The process of aging/breaking down and repairing as you were a kid is because of Free Radicals.. There caused by really many things really.. Bad eating habits/smoking,enviroment. The body already scavenges for them but it’s really not enough.. See what a free radical is - Is an unstable atom.. Behaves differently.. Missing an electron. Now.. the atom is the foundation.. of dna meaning now it’s been corrupted of some sort.. Now that means the blueprints that tell your cells how to multiply/where to go - Is corrupted. You may ask well.. Whats that do? Mutation. If you have enough mutated cells in your body that are still being nourished because your dna can’t tell the difference.. Well then that’s what you call “cancer”.
It’s the same reason you age.. I’ll get to why now. Your body is unable to reproduce liek you were a kid because of free radicals.. But how do you get free radicals? Oxidation… Yes. Oxygen. The thing that gives of life vitality gives us cancer? Well actually there’s been studies to where athletes who consume even more oxygen have a higher chance of getting cancer. Well why?.. Well simple. Oxygens job is to combust.. Look at some metals.. Corosion/rust.. At an atomic level oxygen breaks down healthy atoms. Starting this process.
Now this is where antioxidants.. They let oxygen to oxiginate the cells but stops them from oxidizing the components of cells (Atoms). Food that are filled with the vitamins you need still don’t have enough for the job..This is why you have you super antioxidants.. Astaxanthin is 500x’s to 10,000x’s more effective at preventing oxidation at an atomic level - More then the most common vitamins..Lutein where you can find at the grocery store/pharmacy. If your interested in super antioxidants “noagin” produced from JBNI.. contains Astaxanthin/Zeaxanthin and is the most powerful formulation of super antioxidants available. Info from Wan(Herbholist)/JBNI./Herbholist.com Phytochemicals.. Micro Algae.
Now.. More on Astaxanthin/Phytochemicals.
Too much vitamin A is toxic for a human but astaxanthin is not. Astaxanthin is a powerful antioxidant and is more capable then other cartenoids. Currently, the primary untampered source for astaxanthin is haemtococcus pluvialis.
Supposedly accumulates the highest levels of astaxanthin in nature known. Astaxanthin can be found in krill/plankton/artic shrimp/Phaffia Yeast/ Also as said before Haemtococcus pluvialis. Research shows that due to astaxanthin’s potent antioxidant activity-it may be beneficial too cardiovascular, immune, inflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases. (Hmm). It also crosses the blood brain barrier/ which makes it available to the eye, brain and central nervous system to alleviate oxidative stress that contributes to ocular, neuro diseases such as - glaucoma and Alzheimer’s. Research also shows that it protects body tissues from oxidative damage as said above.
